Arib Hussain

About me

Arib Hussain serves as the Director for the Research Team at Peace360 Initiative. He is a 2nd year undergraduate student enrolled into his University’s 7 Year Accelerated Joint Bachelor’s/M.D. Program and plans to pursue medicine as a career. He has received the Dean’s List Award for academic achievement every semester and currently places among the top of his class. He serves as a youth leader and teacher in his faith community, leading prayers and delivering weekly sermons. He is the co-founder of Community Scholars, a nonprofit tutoring initiative established to serve the academic needs of students in his community. He has extensive clinical experience volunteering in the Emergency Room at his local hospital, working in the Clinical Research Department, and shadowing a physician specializing in Urology and Robotic Surgery in the Operating Room. This past year, he began volunteering as a Research Associate in the Emergency Trauma Department at his local hospital, participating in Emergency Trauma related projects for data collection and screening. He has also been an intern for several political campaign projects and the assistant coach for his youth center’s high school basketball team.
