Cyclone Ditwah has unleashed catastrophic floods and landslides across Sri Lanka, leaving communities devastated. Since making landfall on November 28, 2025, the cyclone has caused: Over 460 people have died, with hundreds still missing, as a disaster impacts all districts, affecting 1.5 million individuals. Around 200,000 displaced residents are seeking refuge in emergency shelters, while tens of thousands of homes have been destroyed or damaged. Critical infrastructure has suffered severe damage, including power failures at major hydropower plants, disrupted roads, transportation, and communication networks. In response, the President has declared a state of emergency.

Peace360 Initiative has stepped in to provide immediate relief, including cooked meals for affected families. However, the need is overwhelming, and we are launching this fundraiser to extend our support. Immediate needs include: Cooked meals & dry rations, Clothing & hygiene items, Cleaning supplies and School supplies for children
